The small victorian slot and tab kit. It had pre finished exterior so I did not repaint any of it. The tree leaves and shrubs are made from moss gathered from the woods, shaped and spray painted green. The tree trunk is a limb from a ligustrum from the back yard that needed pruning and was the perfect shape. The flowers are the tiny dried ones, planted in a mixture of dirt and white glue, as are the ones in the planters, which I made from some of the house scraps. The swing is also made from house scraps. I learned from this very first attempt not to throw anything away!! All kinds of things can be made from scraps as you will see throughout my projects. The fence is made from hors d'oeuvre forks, purchased from Pier One. I cut the tines off at an angle to form the pickets and the cross pieces, again, are made from house scraps. The walkway is made from a mixture of white glue and sand.
