DOLLS


Again, I used scrap wood for the seats, white cloth covered florist wire for the uprights, round toothpicks for the legs and white crochet cotton thread for the weaving. Shaped the curve on the arms and back, then painted with 2 coats of white enamel spray paint. My Dremel drill really came in handy for this project. There is a settee, armchair, rocker and the little table.

I am sure you will recoginize the furniture in this scene, the fireplace and chaise are from the Farm House and the rug from the Colonial. All of these dolls were made in class except for the man, he was made for me by the lady in Savannah. I really had fun in class cleaning the little biologically correct baby boy...everyone was afraid I was going to break a vital part!!
