This bed and night stand are from a Miniatures Collectors Society kit.
The chaise lounge and the chair in the forefront are made from 2 layers of corragated cardboard, placed at right angles, using 3/8 inch thick foam for padding. Again
I measured my furniture and reduced it to 1 inch scale.
This furniture is from a Realife kit. The quilt fabric I found at a local fabric store. I placed 2 layers of white flannel to the right side of the quilt fabric, made a small seam turned right side out and quilted around the design.
A close up of the quilt is in the needlework section.
The rug is cross stitch on white 24 count aida cloth with a dryer sheet glued to the back and trimmed 1/4 inch from design and then the fabric is fringed.
This fireplace is made from the mini bricks and mortor kit. I mixed some ashes in the mortor to give a smoked up appearance. The rust colored wing chair is from a Realife kit and the gold chair is made from corragated cardboard. The rug is pettipoint I found on sale, during my travels.
The sofa, end table and coffee table are from a Realife kit.
I used some leftover yarn and separated it to 1 strand to make the yarn skeins and the knitting in the basket. The knitting is done on large straight pins.
I used the same yarn to crochet the afgan in a ripple pattern, that is over the back of the sofa.
There is a close up of the afgan in my needlework section...
